  1. Don't take things personally because it's not "personal".

  2. When someone is doing or saying something to you, it is NOT ABOUT YOU, IT IS about THEM.

  3. THIS COULD BE REGARDED AS ONE OF THOSE INCREDIBLY RARE TIMES WHEN IT IS GOOD TO TAKE THE POSITION THAT THE WORLD IS NOT REVOLVING AROUND YOU!

  4. So, why do we make ourselves the important part of this interaction, when the truth is the other person is making himself the important part of the interaction?

  5. WOULDN'T THIS THEN BE A GOOD TIME TO TAKE THE POSITION WITH YOUR OPPONENT THAT, "YES, (in this one instance) THE WORLD IS REVOLVING AROUND YOU"! WITH YOU BEING THE OPPONENT???

  6. YET, IF WHAT THEY SAID BOTHERS YOU AND STICKS IN YOUR GUT TO THE LEVEL OF SEVERITY OF BEING CONSTIPATED FOR 3 DAYS STRAIGHT; SIMPLY LASH BACK USING WORDS WHICH HIT THEM BELOW THE BELT!!! Because as T'Pau said in the original Star Trek episode Spock's Wedding, "This is a fight to the DEATH!!!"

  7. AND...If you STILL hear yourself saying, "I can't believe they did that to ME", then stop, and realize you are BEING A WUSS by personalizing (becoming the owner of) someone else's behavior.
